New Life Church
Sundays from 10.30am
We meet at Chart Downs Social Club every Sunday morning.
We begin with worship songs and prayers before a time of communion and a short word of encouragement from the Bible.
We have a number of families with young children in the Church. We realise that this can be a challenge for parents sometimes and we try to ensure that the children feel that Church is just as much for them as it is for adults.
In connection with this, we have stringent measures in place to keep our children and young people safe – see our Safeguarding Policy for more details.
Community Events
Throughout the year, we run seasonal Community events.
Afternoons on the green in front of the club, involving good food, music, and fun activities for the whole family. These are great times to come together as a community and have some fun.
During December, we host a Community Christmas lunch for all ages.

Comfort Café
Fridays 12 - 1.30pm
Everyone is welcome at the Comfort Café at Chart Downs Community Centre!
Sandwiches, snacks and hot drinks to purchase. Play area for under 5s.
The Community Fridge attends from
12.45 - 1.30pm on alternate weeks.

Messy Mondays
A stay and play session for local families with under 5s.
Mondays 10 – 11:30am at Mole Valley Family Centre, Goodwyns Road.
Outdoor play space whatever the weather, experienced staff on hand and amazing equipment.
Come and make new friends! We look forward to seeing you.
£3 donation per carer and child, £1 per extra adult. No parking on site, please walk if you can. Email

Crafty Companions
Come and join us every Friday 10 - 11.30am.
A time to join with others for a friendly chat over a cup of coffee.
Seasonal craft projects, ceramics, painting, jigsaws and much more. Or bring your own crafting projects!
Youth Group
Fridays (term-time)
7 - 8.30pm
Ages 11-14 years, everyone welcome at Chart Downs Social Club. Fun, games, activities, chat & chill.
£2 cash entry.
Time Out for Parents
A 6-week parenting course run by New Life Church Dorking.
Courses run at regular intervals. Please register your interest by emailing community@newlifedorking.co.uk
5 Week Baby Massage Course
Baby massage is a shared experience that strengthens the bond between parents and their baby.
Warm and supportive classes and a great opportunity to meet other parents.
Cost: £60
We take referrals from health care professionals
Bring a small bottle of any seed or vegetable oil & towel

Daisy First Aid Session

Early Days Baby Group
Watch this space for our exciting new support group for new parents starting later in 2026.
This will be a 6 week postnatal group with lots of chance to meet other new parents, speak to experts about sleep, feeding, managing low mood and many other topics.
It will be run by qualified health professionals who are supported by volunteers with early years backgrounds.
For now, feel free to join us on a Friday at Chart Downs Community Centre for a relaxed morning with local friends of all ages or come to Messy Mondays at Mole Valley Family Centre, Goodwyns Road.
The Freedom Programme
A 7-week Freedom Programme for female survivors of domestic abuse
