Parish Nurse

The Parish Nurse is employed by New Life Church Dorking, and works in partnership with the Community Life Project which is run by the church.

Alongside the Community Life team, the Parish Nurse, Jo Taylor, is also involved in:

​

• Ante/postnatal support

• Baby massage courses for parents

• Craft groups

• Parenting groups

• Community cafe & advice sessions

• Blood pressure monitoring

• Youth work

​

Jo can offer tailored support in homes or community spaces to promote health and well-being. This may include parents with young children, elderly residents, and those with life-limiting conditions. Jo can also support families who have children who are not currently accessing education.
